Does anyone know if long-term injuries carry over to the next season?

I'm playing in an online CFM and my QB (Mariota) got hurt. Now (Offseason Stage 1) he's still out for 31 weeks. Will that carry over into the new season or are injuries "cleared" at the beginning of a new season?

They carry over but the Weeks are adjusted accordingly with the start of preseason.

Make sure you check on his injury rating after he gets better. May need to be raised back up.
