Grass at M&T Bank Stadium?

Does anyone know if this year's version will actually have grass at the Ravens' stadium instead of field turf? It was field turf last year, and many of my Ravens fans friends were disappointed.

I would hope the stadiums are up to date... if not , major screw it would be.

Me too! I'll give them a pass for last year since it was the first year at M&T with grass (even though it was announced the previous December), but there's no excuse if they don't get it right this year.

As a Ravens fan, no, it would not be a major screw up.

Playing surfaces in Madden are largely aesthetic only as far as I know. Major screw ups are mode breaking bugs, glitches, horribly balanced features, etc.

Whoever is in charge of updating the stadiums for Madden should be fired. I feel like they're getting lazy and don't care to make it authentic

The Seahawks Stadium is wrong in Madden 18 from the trailer. I don't how EA could miss this when watching the real game on TV last season, but CenturyLink Field is supposed to have LED boards wrap around the upper level of the stadium. It was put in last year, but it's missing from the trailer. They did update the four video boards in the endzone though, but did it wrong... SMH! It's supposed to be a full LED video board

They also added field level seats for the past few years which is still not in the game either

I also noticed that they removed the "HOME OF THE TWELFTH MAN" sign. It's supposed to be "HOME OF THE 12s" and couldn't even get that right in the game for years, so they took it out?

I am all for "authenticity" in my sports gaming. But ... you are voicing displeasure about something that is, dare I say, petty? inconsequential?

Granted, for the past couple years I've been complaining about team uniform colors (Panthers blue, for example). But that is something that is on the field and you are seeing it every play (depending on the team). But LED boards in the upper deck? C'mon, man.

I think a better complaint would be how insanely dark the stadium is compared to real life. The Madden version looks like someone forgot to turn the lights on for a night game.
