I don't usually like to argue ratings and here's why...

There's just not enough time in the day for any one guy, or even a small group, to accurately rate hundreds of players.

I don't care if someone is the Einstein of NFL knowledge, it's impossible to know everything about every player.

Thankfully I am on offline player, so I can use a custom roster because the Packers are usually a little underrated, but everyone thinks that about their team.

Asked Clint about the AGL rating last year as it relates to gearing down for route running, unfortunately the WR route breaking is just one animation w/no way currently add variable speed to it.

There's some things ratings wise that can be done to get guys like this to be immulated a little better during gameplay.

One hidden gem is how the SPD rating is used to mainly control how fast the running animation runs through.

Don't know if you remember, but years ago they introduced varied running animations from a jog to big body sprint etc...

- 40's trigger the Jog animation
- 50's trigger slow big body sprint animation
- 60's trigger slow low end sprint animation (i.e. TE/FB etc...)
- 70's is best natural sprint animation
- 80's is speedster sprint animation
- 90's causes lots of gliding/sliding during sprint (5yrds in 2.)

60's is the best SPD setting for most TE's were they look natural when running.

But that goes against what we've been conditioned to see dealing with SPD rating.

cant remember if Rex or Clint but they said there would be a rating bible blog this year, so you might not have to make one. hopefully it will cover everything
