While I would agree with you, I'm not a programmer or developer so I have no clue how "easy" certain things are to implement. I also don't have the entire picture of what their customer (not just us) looks like and how that effects what their priorities are. JMO, I hate that some things aren't there anymore, but there are things we have now that I enjoy.

Fair comment. I should limit my comment to "most" longtime players, certainly cannot speak for all.

But other than the online aspect of CFM, what does CFM have that that say Madden 2004-6 didn't?

Online franchise is THAT big for me and a lot of other people. I remember sharing save files with friends in the days before online franchise just to try and mimick that.

Can't believe we're still missing so many features from games that released 13-14 years ago. And thats not even including all the great franchise features from Head Coach 09.

Player Morale and Position Battles ala Madden 05. The concept of Local and National newspapers and the Tony Bruno show was way ahead of its time. Just reading these makes me sad.

I disagree, I play online CFM and it is still pretty barebones. It is fun though, atleast I can give it that much.

That post says Historical Stats aren't in the game..? They've been in the game for a long, long time now. They're definitely in 18.
