Really hate that people are calling these patches 'Day Zero,' when it's 10 hours after the game has been released and (reportedly) the patch is not out yet. A day zero patch, in the software world, is one that is available before the software has been released. If the patch is not available to consumers until after release, then it's not 'Day Zero.'

It's like one of those misnomers like "Launch Window" when the X1 and PS4 debuted, and suddenly the software that we used to call "Launch software" and meant software available at launch, is now software that spans 4-6 months after launch and is part of "The Launch Window." There is no launch window. There is software at launch and post-launch software.

Likewise, if a patch is not available at the time software is released, it's not "Day Zero." Day One, sure, if it's available that day (e.g., from 12am on 8/22 to 11:59pm on 8/22). If this patch slips to Wednesday, then it's not a day one patch.

If you're on the PS4, the patch might have been bundled with your digital download. Just highlight the game, and press options. Highlight "update history" and it should say patch 1.02 and list the patch notes.

I have a physical copy, but I did the same thing. Madden is at version 1.01 right now. No patch yet.
