Development Trait Edits

I am intrigued by going through the roster I use in CFM and editing player dev traits (notably Wentz, Goff, Jimmy G, just to name a few). What method would you all use in determining star, quick, normal, and slow? Would you do it based on OVR (95+ superstar, 90-94 quick, and so on), draft round for rookies (1st rounders get quick, with top 10 stars), past history, etc? Just curious to see what everyone thinks. What's your method?

Re: Development Trait Edits

Purely in personal preference

But I'd stay clear of doing it as you may out as that would lead to predictability..top draft picks being good picks no busts etc

Re: Development Trait Edits

So far I haven't edited any traits yet in my offline CMF. I just take it as chance and take what the game gives me. As far as I understand, the default ratios are 5/85/5/5... with the 85% being normal development and the rest getting 5% each. If you are bumping guys up and down, maybe find offsets with other players to keep the overall league ratios in line.

Also, I wouldn't see a point to base changes on OVR. If a guy is already well over 90 OVR, does he really need the superstar development buff? Conversely, I'm sure there are players that are very good right out of college but might not ever get any better... so I think you could have an 85 OVR with slow.
