Need to trade for a running back, but who?

Took over a team in my online CFM and the O line is awful. Best overall is 76. So right now my strategy has been short to intermediate passing game and also a lot of dump off to the flats.
Currently my HB is Jeremy Hill and he isn't getting it done for what I need.


Looking for a guy like Shane Vereen, but his owner isn't wanting to give him up. Who are some comparable guys without going all out for like a Leveon Bell type?

There's a guy on the Lions, Abdullah I believe, who just recently tore me up -- the guy is kinda like a Diet-Low-Carb Bell type. His pass block rating is in the mid-60s, his catch is 69-70 I believe, and he's a fairly good kick returner despite what appears to be a lackluster rating in that regard.

He's a 76-79 in rating I believe and is an ideal 3rd down back, only 25-26 if I recall correctly. I think he might work, but check his ratings in your CFM and see how he would fit with you schematically -- in mine, the Lions drafted a replacement back for him and cut him, so Detroit usually doesn't consider him too valuable.

Why trade? There is bound to be a specialist type of guy available as a free agent; ignore overall...just go for a good agility/accel guy and make sure his catching is at least 60 or so. A guy with a good juke or spin move rating would be gravy.

Thanks for the feedback. I have Chris Thompson who seems like a good fit, but he doesn't possess the RAC trait and I need a good pass catcher for my next game specifically.


Thompson does that thing where he catches it and pauses then goes. Annoying.
