Older gamers are more tolerant to graphics and bugs. There was a time when you bought a game and that was it. No update or patches. You either found a way to enjoy it or not.

We're so spoiled these days that most seem to rather whine and complain until things go their way rather than appreciating the game for what it is and enjoying it.

In this case whining and complaining is how we get what we want, in some cases we do it constructively, and other cases it's a little obnoxious (but also called for in some cases) Either way you can't argue that it works, developers listen and sooner or later we get things we want. Im not a believer in the whole "entitled consumer" argument.

Not to mention these games aren't free. I show my appreciation with my money. They show theirs by improving their product. It's not like we can go and buy another NFL game.

For something unimportant like video games, nah, obnoxiousness is never called for. Don't buy it. Having no other options is not a valid excuse for being an ahole about something so trivial.
