I can't remember which madden it was, but it was sometime in the last 3-4 years (I want to say madden 25). In CFM certain players and legendary coaches would come out of retirment (players for just one year). There were even story lines tied into the news feed with these developments. With John gruden coming back this year after a long layoff this would be a really cool feature to see impmented again. Does anyone know why EA did away with this feature?

NBA 2K has that, too. Vince Carter is my Assistant Coach for my Suns franchise. Would love to see it make a return.

They had this in the PS2 Days. I remember having Brett Favre as my OC.

This was awesome. I miss being able to pick your coordinators, period. It would make a LOT of sense in M19 with their focus on schemes and systems. No clue why they took this out. Id guess the specific "legend" players coming back as coaches could be a licensing issue of some sort? I loved having Jerry Rice or Montana as the OC for my 9ers!
