Yes this absolutely needs to change

Anybody else on PC not able to hear the commentary? It isn't working for me, the audio is all kind of jank. Also the 3d grass looks weird from a distance. If they iron out some graphical issues this'll be fun.

Definitely something going on with the lighting. Maybe it will be fixed in the day one patch I hope.

Custom playbooks don’t work and can’t do fantasy draft to start CFM. Not looking good.

ODogg found a fix for his problem and it worked for me. Change your computer sound to stereo. It's probably on 5.1 or 7.1. That worked for me.

Re: Madden NFL 19 Impressions (Pre-Release / EA Access / Origin Access)

Let me first say, I hate Madden.

I hate it because it's like having a football player on your roster, who SHOULD be the best player in the country, but he's lazy and entitled, and he knows that the coach is going to play him no matter what effort he gives you. That's what Madden feels like every year.

With that said, the early impression of Madden 19 (for me) is neutral, which is the first positive thing I can say about Madden in a while. I like the running game now, and the weight of the players. Just tweak the sliders, and you and the CPU can both get a realistic running game going.

Passing is also improved. I feel a challenge (finally) when passing against the CPU AI. There's still some cheese routes, that you will complete 85% of the time (or more), but don't call them all the time to exploit the system. The CPU QB isn't Tom Brady each game, no matter if you play against the actual Tom Brady or Mike Glennon.

I love the depth charts, and how you will see rotation in your DL and RB without having to pause the game, then put them out there yourself.

That's enough praise...

They better fix this lightning issue the very first day it comes out. It looks like I'm playing with sunglasses on when I have a day game. Madden 18 lightning was 100x better than Madden 19.

Punting/Kicking still broke (with wind)

Safeties will just stand there sometimes (if you don't control them) and let receivers run past them, THEN react. Maybe it's an awareness/play recognition rating thing, or it's Madden being Madden...which isn't a compliment.

Still not buying it, and will hope that they clean up the little things (that I noted in the pro's) so that they can focus on the major overhaul it needs going forward into Madden 20 and Madden 21. They've taken a step in the right direction with Madden 18.5 (19), SO that is a victory in it's self.
