Re: How's your Franchise going? - Madden 19 Edition

The first game without Aaron Rodgers for the Packers saw a 13-10 loss to the Jets in Week 16. DeShone Kizer wasn't too bad in his first start, going 22-34 for 298 yards with 0 touchdowns and 1 interception. Could have been much worse. But the Packers could get no semblance of a running game going, which has been an issue most of the season. At least getting a consistent running game has. The team has been averaging just over 100 yards per game with the three running backs.

Going into Week 17, the NFC North is up for grabs. If the Packers win against Detroit, they clinch, regardless of anything else happening. If Green Bay loses, they need Minnesota to beat Chicago for the Packers to win the division. Should Chicago win and Green Bay lose, then Chicago wins the division on virtue of winning both head-to-head matchups against the Packers.
If Kizer can play just a bit better in this game, we may be able to pull it off. Thankfully Jamaal Williams is back for this game, who is our leading rusher, so we'll see if we can run on this Lions defense

Week 17: Green Bay Packers (9-6) vs Detroit Lions (7-8)

Needing a win to clinch the division and hold off the Bears, Green Bay had to rely on DeShon Kizer to lead the team to a victory. A closely contested defensive battle saw the Packers eek out a 19-17 win on the strength of a Mason Crosby field goal with three seconds left in the game.
Detroit took a 17-16 lead late in the fourth quarter with a Stafford to Marvin Jones touchdown with 1:36 left on the clock. But Kizer showed great poise in the two minute drill and led Green Bay down the field for a victory.
Kizer finished the game 26-36 for 333 yards and 1 touchdown without throwing a pick, doing just enough to earn the win.
With that win, the Packers finish the season 10-6 and win the division, making the playoffs. But they will still have to go throughout the playoffs without Aaron Rodgers. How far can Kizer lead this team? Especially with injuries during the game to Justin McCray, Jimmy Graham, and Muhammad Wilkerson.

How's your Franchise going? - Madden 19 Edition

2019: 9-2 w/ IND

Up 24-16, Kenny Moore II intercepted Brees at their 30 yard line. After some nice gains, Luck tossed his 2nd interception of the game in the endzone. Brees and company drove down the field in an unstoppable manner and score a TD but were sacked on their 2-pt attempt.

Following a failed onside kick attempt and some runs by Pierce Waters work a first down, NO found themselves out of timeouts and subjected to our victory formation.

Final score: 24-22 IND

With the W, we won our 9th game and met the goal for the season with 5 games to play!

SN: Drew Brees breaks the NFL passing touchdown record with his 541st TD throw.

Re: How's your Franchise going? - Madden 19 Edition

Probably the wrong thread, but does anyone know a set of realistic, fictional or non-fictional draft classes for PS4? I use EAs release day roster, and is going into my third year of franchise with the Colts. My two generated draft classes has been quite boring and repetitive though.
