Am I the only person bothered by this? If I call a zone blitz but decide I want to crash my rushing DTs, my LB (lined up at end in a 2-4-5) now crashes as well, abandoning his zone assignment. It causes me to have to either user that DE or take extra time to reset him to play his original assignment. Not good. It's never been this way in the past. I wouldn't expect the DE to be affected in a 2-4-5.

Really hoping they patch this...

I believe this is on purpose, they are lined up on the defensive line. Regardless of their natural position, they are defensive linemen in that formation.

This is intentional, and by design. You need to adjust your specialist lineups.
