Just played an online game and Triangle button refused to work. I couldnt user pick or catch. My guy would just stand there and let the WR do work. Anyone ever run into this? It was pure BS

The timing/ball placement has to be just right for it to work. In general, it seems they won't go for anything that isn't within immediate reach. I've had it may times where it looked like if they would just dive or make a reach for the ball it would be a catch, but they don't. Definitely frustrating.

Ya this was just a 1 game fluke. I havent had any issue at all up until this game

Nah, your user just has to be squared up most of the time to get the animation.
