Pass coverage in red zone

After about a month of playing Madden 19,how is the pass coverage in the red zone? How has zone coverage and man to man been improved? How has it become worse? I didn't play 18 but do remember something very frustrating that happened in Madden 17. I was at the CPU's 11 yard line and it was 3rd down. I was guessing the defense would blitz so I audibled my TE's route to simply go straight up into the end zone. I guessed correctly as the right linebacker was blitzing. As soon as I saw that I threw it to my TE. Out of nowhere, the free safety, who was positioned at the back of the end zone and just to the left of center, came flying by and got the interception. In real life, that's a td! No way,in real life, does the safety make that interception! So frustrating! Does that happen in Madden 19?

Re: Pass coverage in red zone

No, that doesnt happen this madden. This madden completing passes in the redzone is pretty much automatic. You will love it because the DBs will just stand there while the pass gets completed
