Wrong scheme showing on player intos

Question, odd bug. My team in CFm runs a 3-4 and I made sure I choose a real team with a 3-4 scheme. But, I'm game of shows me as a 4-3 in the player introductions? Is there a fix I'm missing?

I've seen this as well, but the opposite. I run a 4-3 and they sometimes show my team as a 3-4 in the intros.

If you use a custom playbook it will show your defense as a different scheme during the intros.

Did that in Madden 17 too when i switched defenses. I always skip over showing those in intros so it didn't bother me. Haven't looked at it in 19 but I've no plans to switch from my base.

i changed the Raiders scheme from 4-3 multiple (or something like) that to 4-3 base. And in the intros my starters are shown in 3-4

If it’s still like last year, defensive lineup is tied to offensive playbook. Crazy, but that’s how it worked. You have to choose a default playbook that belongs to a base defense you prefer.

So after playing around with it, your exactly right. All your player intros are tied to the offensive playbook. Once I selected an offensive playbook with a 3-4 scheme it fixed it. Now, how this is supposed to make sense. Shrug
