I wrote an article about why I thought an open beta was needed for 20 even though I pretty much knew it was going to be a repeat of 19. I am surprised that the public portion of the closed Beta is only 3 days after the much longer time frame last year. To me it signals the beta is much more marketing ploy then a bug finding expedition.
