I'm not sure. I just know that I've simmed to the end of the season and it unlocked them all. Played 6 games with no simming and it resets every week.

Weird. That's gotta be in a day 1 patch if franchise mode is gonna be decent this year. If you can't get superstar or superstar x factor abilities unless you sim plays then there's no point in playing the game if you don't sim

I’m just now getting to start my Franchise later tonight, so I haven’t seen the issue firsthand. I’m most surprised though that I don’t see more people complaining about this...seems like a huge issue! Makes me wonder if it is just a random glitch, based off of the roster you start with, etc.

Is it confirmed that it’s not just a visual glitch? Is it actually resetting or is it just showing that it’s reset but it’s still continuing on from the right number of snaps even though you can’t see and keep track of it anymore and unlocking at 500 like it’s supposed to?

I was doing a mix of playing the moments, playing full games and simming. My LT was a rookie that started from day 1 (even in preseason) and it took him until week 12 or 13 to get his dev trait. I checked his snap count because he plays oline and he should be playing almost all snaps on offense, so he should have had it finished by that point as long as we averaged around 60 to 80 snaps a game.

I'll have to test it more but it seems like it's not counting up either
