That's a different issue where the passing icons never pop up so you can't throw the ball and is unique to a certain play in the playbooks. What OP is referring to is where the AI quarterback just keeps dropping further and further back because nobody is "open."

Ok, I thought it was a similar one because the QB kept going back on that one too.

I had the cpu QB Stafford going back from the 20 yd line to the 1.

Further evidence that little, if any, testing of games vs CPU take place. When will they ever learn? Let me correct that...when will they ever care enough to make CPU QBs act like real QBs?

Shame because other parts of the game are good...but man..talk about an immersion killer...CPU QB play can drive you crazy and just kill the experience. Historically, this has always been the case...at least for the past 5-6 iterations.

I had this glitch come up when I started modding the "pocket settings"

The system is so basic and poorly done, its essentially a ton of scenarios with only 4 commands for the QB

None > Step > Rollout > Scramble

Can't really fault the devs bc theyre stuck using some old system that is a rabbit hole when trying to fix... this issue just crept up out of no where on me last year as well when i thought I finally perfect pocket play by the QB... when you change the chain reaction of how the CPU reacts to pressure, some reason this is what triggers in some scenarios...

It can be fixed but you have to go back and deal with statue QBs
