You have to add all those things (and use resources) for one team...that uses that field for 1 month.....that will be moving into a new stadium in a year...and that most users wont see unless they use the Raiders in a franchise or happen to have a game against them in September of their franchise.

Back when it was in the game, here are the teams that played on baseball fields:

Oakland, San Fran, Miami, San Diego, Minnesota (even though I'm not sure they had a dirt field), Philly, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Falcons (depending on the year).

Now there is just Oakland.

I would love to see this in the game but its about spending resources and I would rather the art team work on updating stadiums and other artwork than this.
No offense but with this way of thinking EA can make a excuse for excluding any little thing. Hell they removed the damn refs. Something that has been apart of madden since Segal genesis smh

Exactly. It isnt just about this one thing. It is a cumulative effect of all the things EA has decided isnt important enough to be in the game.

Ill be damned if there arent brand new MUT challenges available every time I load the game up though.

Re: Baseball Field

Yeah, I would consider the baseball field in Oakland to be a stadium-specific detail, just like all the other stadiums have (or are supposed to have) stadium-specific details. Just like in the Show, let's have stadium specific details. Simple. We know the PS4 is capable of this.

No its not. The refs appear in EVERY game. They should be in the game because Refs are on the field in EVERY game. So its not a waste of resources to complain about that and its simply why I've never had an issue with people who bash them for removing refs.

This is different. It doesnt affect every team. It affects one team for one month a year. That is a waste of resources when those can be used for other things like refs.

Every stadium has stadium specific details including Oakland. I just finished a mod updating a ton of those details.

What they dont have is fields that alternate and have different mechanics for the one team.

I'm all for bashing Madden when its appropriate. I even understand if you are annoyed because you are a Raider fan. With that said, people should have some perspective that this is pretty low priority while being alot more difficult to add than people give credit for.
