QB Speed

When scrambling out of pocket, QBs like Josh Allen and even Kyler Murray are easily chased down by linebackers and even D-Linemen.

My speed parity is currently at 20, which I understood would increase the difference in speed between the faster and slower players.

Is this correct? Do I need to lower it further?

User controlled Josh & kyler? And yes the lower the number the larger the separation

Yes, user controlled.

I've not noticed a huge difference between other players. WRs and RBs with high speed ratings tend to break away from defenders fairly easily and defenders often don't catch up on CB pick sixes, etc.

I've never really understood these kinds of sliders though. Surely the speed ratings should just be allowed to speak for themselves?

Why did u move it away from 50, I’ve yet to have any lineman catch Kyler or any mobile QB, no more coming from behind and tackling people.

Its because of abilities. Once they get the abilities to be able to move around the pocket they will move at lighting speed. Its honestly really stupid and that is among many reasons I have been turned off by X factors and Superstar abilties.

I turned them off for fun, and yes, Lamar Jackson is now being chased down by DT behind the line.
Only when you pass the line of scrimmage does the QB run at normal speed.

What game are you playing loool. Anyways I've noticed OS seems to have a problem of people posting issues and then guys coming in and saying "This has never happened to me" (failing to contribute any useful information to the actual conversation.)

That aside Madden actually NERFS the CPU speed when behind the LOS, we've found this out through modding....now on PC there are mods to remove this nerf, but unfortunately if you are on the console your only option is to lower the speed threshold as low as possible and even still guys get chased down a lot....

What i did in M19 (ps4) is just edit ratings for fast QBs...Josh, Mahomes, Jackson....worked well for me (speed parity at 50)
