How's Your Franchise Going: Madden 21 Edition

New to Madden (and sports games in general lol last sports game i play was Fight Night round 4) and diving into franchise mode to learn more about football and try my hand at building a Super Bowl team.

My first coach mode franchise I ended the season with only 1 win and got fired, so I re-did the draft after having a bit more knowledge and am currently playing the first playoff game against Mahomes and the Cowboys.

I'm rollin with the Saints (fantasy draft franchise) and at the end of the 3rd quarter somehow my 81 overall defence has held Mahomes and the Cowboys to 2 field goals. 10-6 in the 3rd. The cpu mahomes is not playing like the real mahomes, even with custom all-madden sliders and qb changes found here on the forum. Drew Lock (76 ovr QB) is 17-23 for 173 yards and Mahomes is
17-19 for 113 yards as a 99 ovr QB xD

Cowboys take the division championship, 22-17 after 2 crucial ints thrown by Lock that set em up to score twice! Better luck next year Saints, got some work to do lol.

Had a great 2023 season with the Texans, went 11-5. Justin Fields and the Colts won the division at 12-4.

A disappointing loss to the Ravens in the Wildcard ended our season.

Zach Wilson took the Bears to the Super Bowl and beat Mahomes, 27-17.

On to the 2024 season we go.

Haven’t done an update in a while, however I won the Super Bowl again and ran the table for the season. That’s right, 19-0. Dougie P retired after the season too.

7-2 in my new NYG CFM. Started out 6-0 coach mode’ing on Pro. Now 1-2 since switching to All-Pro.

Just finished my first season as the Jets. Went 8-8 and just missed the Playoffs by one game.

I went into the off-season with a focus on upgrading the OL. Came out horribly as there just were not many good OL FAs or OL in the draft. I think my team might even be worse. So I basically just drafted best available.
