Removing IR players

I am working on my custom rosters for my franchise before I start. Does anyone know if there is a workaround to be able to release a player on IR. I thought there was a way that if I edited his position or traded him it removed his IR status?

There is no way to do this currently on consoles. EA is the only ones who can remove the IR icons unfortunately.

This us why many of us half to pick and choose what roster we start with before doing all our roster work.

The way covid opted out players were handled by EA your best bet is to turn off pre-existing injuries when u begin your season.

Turn preexisting injuries off

Yes I always turn them off to start my franchise I just wondered if there was a way to release them when I’m editing the ea roster update and making my own rosters

I dont think so. IR dudes dont cont on your roster count anyway

I'm on pc, and when I disconnect from the internet and load madden and any roster, even this weeks, the only players that are on IR are the guys who were at launch. If I go online everyone is back on. Give it a try. I'm pretty sure there was a post about it a few weeks ago.
