Any user can Edit their X Factor and SS Ability Without it even Showing up on Transaction list! This Has to Be the Worst Update Freakin Ever!!

Yeah, we already had some users go rogue and change abilities.

We also have max 140 bids in a GM league to stop ridiculous contracts and they even took that away from showing up in the FA bids screen.

It looks like this change got added in today's update as well. To prevent point sniping in free agency we removed the bid point # from the "Top Bids" list.

Yeah, I'm in that thread. In a GM league I'm in, we have rules for max point bids to prevent insane and ugly contracts because some users were going overboard with it and bolted shortly after. So we put in a rule. Don't exceed 140 pts when bidding. Now EA removed that and we can't monitor it anymore.

It doesn't take away sniping though. You just mess with the contract until your bar is largest and you're at the top

It takes away most of the sniping though. Players don't always choose the highest point offer and there's some randomization. So you knew you get the player very likely with let's say 10 points over the 2nd offer, with 1 point over it's less likely. That is taken away. So this change has been taken quite positive for all leagues I'm in.



I've not heard about max point offers in leagues, that is annoying in this case. Maybe an option for you guys is to set maximum $$ per year as an alternative?




For those about the abilities - I see a huge disparity between leagues that are really happy about that and leagues that really hate it. Could you state some pro/cons why you want it everyone to change or not? Probably would help other leagues too with the same decision.
