It's all preference to be honest. Best to do is try out someones slider, if you don't like it then go to someone else's or just edit to your benefit. Trust me i had a lot of games this year or last year where it seems i am testing sliders more than enjoying the game. Luckily i finally found a slider set that i like for now

You're going to see a lot of threads in the slider section of these forums from 1000 people who swear their slider is the best. Ignore them because my slider setting is the best.

Why? Because I believe that there is no such thing as a 'realistic' slider settings. Using QB accuracy as an example, if I set the accuracy to say, 70, it's not like each QB's PAC is improved by 7 points or whatever (to me, that would be the logical way to implement sliders, but oh well). Instead, *all* QBs become excellent passers. You won't tell a difference between Mahomes and Winston. In other words, when you use a slider, you basically get the same feel in each game you play.

Because of that, I recommend randomizing your slider settings. That way, each game feels different, which is kind of what to expect in real life.

Just my two cents, but never, ever, ever take the word of someone who says 'this slider is the best' because like someone else said, it is all about personal preferences.

Re: All Madden Sliders

Can I be frank? If you're serious about going to AM, I'd just roll with default for at least a season. See how it plays for you holistically. I think a number of the "issues" with All Madden that people whine about here stem from two things:

1. People that got into bad habits on lower difficulties that finally get punished for them on AM. They wind up realizing they aren't as good as they thought and instead of getting better, they whine about it and/or go onto number 2...
2. People overreact to the results from a few games and make a whole lot of slider adjustments that wind-up making it worse...then they whine more about how "AM is broken".

Re: All Madden Sliders

Certainly agree with some of the sentiments expressed here

People in general have very little concept of how probability maths works , and consequently over react when improbable events occur .

Sample size is a huge issue both when assessing the real life NFL and in Madden generally.

Play style ( both of the user and the teams being used ) hugely influence outcomes .

Despite popular anecdotal evidence to the contrary not everyone is an NFL coach in waiting with the reflexes and dexterity of a superhuman consequently we all have different needs .

No slider set is "correct" ... but if you are looking for a personalised set that suits you id suggest this process if you have the time / patience.

Play / watch several CPU / CPU games on your desired level , either at default or with slider set designed for that purpose , identify what you like and dislike and make adjustments accordingly until you see results you like . Subsequently play using these sliders lowering user/ raising CPU settings by increments until you are challenged. Continue to monitor and make minor adjustments at intervals as you play to counter your personal improvement throughout the cycle.

Use your previous slider set as your starting point for next year , being aware of any gameplay changes introduced and patches etc.

I'd not played Madden in a while so have missed playing with a number of the recent patches and a number of the slider set updates. I decided to get back on the game so plugged a new slider set into the main menu and loaded my old franchise save. I was sure that default All Madden was garbage and I needed a slider set to have fun.

I played a couple of games on there, which were fine. I then decided to start a new franchise mode save, so set that up. I was playing the first game, seeing some really nice animations and generally having fun. I figured the slider set was a keeper. I then realised that I had forgotten to load the slider set in the franchise menu, and had been playing on default All Madden the entire time.

Re: All Madden Sliders

Even with lowered sliders on AM, for me it's all offense for me and the CPU so I just take it for what it's worth.

Would love a defensive battle every now and then.
