We also don't even know what the defensive play all was. It could be that the defenders did do everything perfectly, it was just a crappy playcall.

There's only so much intuitive, scenario-specific intelligence we can expect. Especially since this is something that actual players often lack.

I held Michael Thomas from the Saints yesterday all game with great coverage, then late in the game a blown assignment and he catches a 45 yard TD. I thought it was awesome and unpredictable which is something I like to see in a game.

I would never want perfect, predictable anything in a sports game. I do understand how some can get frustrated though, as we all want different things out of games.

What coverage were you in? Also looks like the CB was shading outside which leaves the inside open.
