This thread is about QBs fumbling when past the LoS as runners. Madden used to force them to fumble every single time they were hit to balance online play. You're talking about fumbling inside of the pocket. While 4 fumbles is a lot for one game, it's only one game and strip sacks do not seem to be an issue, at least not one I experience or have seen brought up much.

For example, as far as I can tell with Pro-Football-Reference's play finder, Lamar Jackson tied for the NFL lead in fumbles this year with 11 (regular season + playoffs), but only 3 of those fumbles happened on rushing plays (he ran for yards either by design or by scramble 160 times in 2020).

Jackson finished the season with a Carrying rating of 70 in Madden 21, which is pretty easily in line with a player who fumbled 11 times? But that also probably does not demonstrate a particularly strong understanding of the context of his fumbles.
Yeah it's been an issue for the last few years. It really hurts designed QB runs because you can't risk getting tackled. While you can get sacked 5-6 times in a game and not worry too much about fumbling.

Maybe they'll figure out the difference one year

Pretty sure the fumble multiplier applies to QBs period - doesn’t matter if they are running past the LOS or not.

Re: Qb fumbling on scrambling

i have put cpu fumble slider to 57 and i change all the qb injury slider like bad qb:s are in the 50 and good are 70-90 range you will start to see something very nice sim things on the sims stats and jeah i put bad qb:s 44-60 range overal and good are 70-90 sim stats are now much better. yesterday i was jets againts texans my own slider settings. i lost the game but cpu johnson run 211yards againts me and watson run 170yards and did 3 running td:s. i have change the game like bad qb:s are bad and good are good the difference is insane its like if you play rodgers is pretty easy to get 2-3td:s on a game but if play darnold jones minshew if you get even 1td you are lucky man .

Serious competitors are not using scrambling QBs this year. I suppose you all just need to blame someone because the game isn't what you want but there is absolutely no validity to this whatsoever.

Field Generals are the most desirable archetype in competitive play, FWIW.

If you are so worried about gambling I assume you spend equal amounts of time agitating against legalized casinos, lotteries, etc?

I honestly have no idea why nearly every post of yours has such a hostile tone, but I may be wrong, but I believe the post you're replying to was referencing when EA did state the QB fumbling every hit was a change made for balance purposes in competitive play, so he isn't exactly blaming anyone baselessly as you accuse.
