Charles Woodson is the best CB in the NFL this season not only cause I'm a Green Bay Packers fan but just for the fact he is making plays all over the field weather its a interception or a sack or a forced fumble hes doing it all from the CB position.

His stats so far this season are:

54 Tackles
2 Sacks
7 Tackles For a Loss Of Yards
4 Forced Fumbles
7 Interceptions
2 Interceptions Returned For Touchdowns

Also To Mention About His Tremendous Career:

Heisman Trophy (1997)
NFL Defensive Rookie Of The Year (1998)
Five Time Pro Bowler (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2008)

I agree. Asante Samuel is the best CB in the league at getting picks. But he is not the best CB all around. He doesn't tackle, and gives up some big plays because of his gambles. If you look at that chart someone posted, Sheldon Brown is actually rated higher than Samuel. Sheldon might be the most underrated corner in the game today.
