Re: The truth about Dez Bryant!
Interesting first hand story about Dez Bryant.
My Dad past away last week in Lufkin TX where Dez grew up. While there I was talking to one of my cousins and it turns out he coached Dez at Lufkin High School. I don't want to get him in trouble so I won't say his name... but here is how he broke Dez down...
Dez was as dumb as a door knob. Up to his junior year he could only be lined up on one side of the field because if they flipped him to the other side he got his routes all confused. He was however the most gifted athlete he had ever seen.
In one big game they needed a score in the final moments to win but were on their side of the 50. The opponent was playing Dez close to the line and anytime someone did that Dez would just blow by them so they called a deep pass play to him. Dez got wide open for a TD but dropped the ball.... one of the few times if ever my cousin had seen him drop an open pass. Dez came to the sideline ticked off and my cousin told him to calm down... they were just going to run the exact play again. This time Dez caught it for the long TD! LOL. He was so talented even at that level that you could run the same play back to back and the other team could still not stop him.
