Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 1

I finished a preseason game with the #65 as the Titans against the Cowboys

Half Score: 14-10 (supersimmed the rest)

Marion Barber carved me up bit a few of them were bad defensive moves he had something like 16 for 130

CJ was going well 8 for 60ish before going out with an injury.

My passing game was pretty good with Collins throwing 1td and 0 ints.

There passing game was pretty bad with Romo throwing 2 ints 0tds, both of which set up my TDs

I lowered there rushing to 50/65/50 and I may just boost there Qb accuracy.

I lowered my rush to 45/45/50. Will try to play a few more tonight.

But overall these are playing well and are producing defensive looking games (both my Tds came off turnovers theres came off the back of a big run), which is just what I'm looking for.

Keep Up the good Work

Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 1

SO DB i used the (slow set) of sliders that you said werre working well. I had a pretty good outcome in the first half of a preseason game. I have all coaching schemes changed and also all penalities set.

I was NE 16 at PHI 3

McNabb 14/22--148 yds 0TD, 2INT--both to Bodden
Brady 10/14 69 yds 1TD 0 INT

Westbrook 13 34 0td
F. Taylor 4 3
Morris 1 10

Both defense seemed to break the line of scrimmage easy for a total of 9 tackles for loss. I may up the run block, and make the block shedding more difficult

Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 1

Next game---onl;y changed shed block shedding on rush defense to 25 on both CPU and HUM. This seemed to change quite a bit in the game as the backfield opened up for my team considerabley.

WAS (30) vs. BAL (7)
ME

Campbell 17/22 301 3TD 0INT
Flacco 5/13 55 0TD 1INT

Portis 10/35
Rice 5/6
Betts 2/4

REC
Cooley WAS 7/85 1TD
Portis WAS 4/76 1TD
Sellers Wash 3/64
BEtts WAS 2/55 1TD

All of these came from either screens or flat passes that no defenders were even covering these guys---probably going to have to figure out how to slow down the flat game with defense

Using Dfos Sliders

Halftime
Chicago (me) 17 vs Giants 7

Passing
Cutler 8/14 87 yards 1 Td
Manning 13/23 141

Rushing
Forte 15-144-1
Mckie 2-8
----------
Jacobs 9-31-1
Bradshaw 2-3

Receiving
Hester 2-28-1
Bennett 2-28
Forte 2-10
Olsen 2-21
-----------
Jacobs 4-25
Hagan 2-21
Hicks 2-16
Hedgecock 1-14
Smith 1-22
Ware 1-11
Boss 1-8
Manninham 1-24

Defense
Only 1 sack by either side (Tuck). No picks.

I'll have to tinker with the human rushing sliders and maybe CPU rush defense. Forte was breaking off 8-12 yard runs with ease. 50 came on one td run but he was basically unstoppable. It might have just been one game but Jacobs did not feel "tough" to bring down like I had hoped. The only broken tackles I can remember were on his catches against safeties. The CPU pass game felt really good. Manning had several really impressive throws.

Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 1

One thing I have learned from messing with these sliders is that you really are going to have to allow them to be fluid in your franchise. A lot will depend on what team you use. While I can run for 8 a carry with the sliders I am using now with someone like SJax or Peterson I can barely muster 4 with Maroney/Taylor. This works for me because New England is who I will be using. Obviously if I used Minnesota I would need to really re-work the RB sliders. I fully expect to have to lower some Hum QB sliders or I will be Robo QB with Brady.

I think I'm finally good on sliders though and ready to fire up a real franchise.

Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 1

Tried these sliders wanting to hate them b/c they look very odd. However, I had a very nice first half with them. Everything made sense and they felt very nice.

We may have to adjust fatigue b/c with the new patch, it is very noticeable. I had a ton of substituting going on at the CB position.

Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 1

Recent updates pg. 1. Tuned for IQ's between 600-680.

Thanks for game feedback!

Still not sure about fatigue now. Some say it needs to be raised, some say its too high at default. Still testing that. 50 for now
