I am playing a game right now, Pats vs Phins, and Gronkowski has 5 drops through the 3rd quarter. Ochocinco has 2.
I will be upping the WR catching a bit. Bush is running well against me though.

Re: Bossg315's Madden NFL 12 Sliders VERSION 1.5 ( 100% Realistic and Fun)

Just played another decent game with the normal sliders.
Patriots (me) 28 - 11 Dolphins
Brady - 21-35, 302 yds, 2TD, 0int
Henne - 13-25, 182 yds, 1TD, 0int

Green-Ellis - 16car, 56 yds, 3.5 ypc, 2TD
Woodhead - 6car, 20 yds, 3.3 ypc, 0TD

Bush - 20car, 82yds, 4.1 ypc, 0TD
Thomas - 2car, -4 yds, -2.0 ypc, 0TD

Welker - 8 rec, 82 yds, 1TD
Ochocinco - 5 rec, 65 yds, 0TD
Hernandez - 4 rec, 85 yds, 0TD

Marshall - 4 rec, 52 yds, 0TD
Fasano - 3 rec, 44 yds, 0TD
Bess - 2 rec, 14 yds, 0TD

Patriots Defense - 10 TFL, 3 sack, 0 int, 4 pdef, 0 FF
Dolphins Defense - 3 TFL, 1 sack, 0 int, 4 pdef, 1 FF

notes:
-TOP - NE 20:56 and MIA 14:52
-Both teams has poor 3rd Down Conv. % (NE 33% and MIA 18%)
-I think I found the perfect Kickoff length slider setting as both teams had 1 KR. (61)
-Both teams had too many drops. I will be moving the catching to 22 on both sides. (NE had 7 and MIA had 5)
-Still not getting the production I would like out of the CPU runningbacks. Bush had two long rushes leading to his 4.0ypc.

Re: Bossg315's Madden NFL 12 Sliders VERSION 1.5 ( 100% Realistic and Fun)

Just played a third decent game with the normal sliders. (slightly modified; 22 catching HUM & CPU)
Patriots (me) 24 - 21 Chiefs
Brady - 29-55, 388 yds, 3TD, 0int
Cassell - 18-34, 293 yds, 0TD, 0int

Green-Ellis - 12car, 32 yds, 32.6 ypc, 0TD
Woodhead - 3car, 6 yds, 2.0 ypc, 0TD

Charles - 25car, 147yds, 5.8 ypc, 0TD
Jones - 4car, 7 yds, 1.7 ypc, 2TD

Welker - 8 rec, 66 yds, 1TD
Gronkowski - 8 rec, 138 yds, 2TD
Branch - 4 rec, 71 yds, 0TD

Bowe - 7 rec, 159 yds, 0TD
Breaston - 3 rec, 24 yds, 0TD
Pope - 3 rec, 68 yds, 0TD

Patriots Defense - 5 TFL, 0 sack, 0 int, 7 pdef, 0 FF
Chiefs Defense - 4 TFL, 0 sack, 0 int, 11 pdef, 1 FF

notes:
-TOP - NE 16:23 and KC 18:46
-Brady was forced to throw much more than I would have liked due to having no running game.
-Both teams still had too many drops. I will be moving the catching to 30 on both sides to try to achieve 2-3 a game. (NE had 9 and MIA had 3)
-Still not getting the production I would like out of the CPU runningbacks. Charles didn't start producing until the 4th when I was playing a more preventative style defense. I will be moving CPU run blocking to 10 and player reaction time to 17.
-The Chiefs went 2/5 in field goals and Dolphins were 2/3. I will be upping the Field Goal Accuracy to 40.

Re: Bossg315's Madden NFL 12 Sliders VERSION 1.5 ( 100% Realistic and Fun)

Four games down, one to go before I post what I think your normal sliders should look like, well, my version at least.
Patriots (me) 31 - 3 Chargers
Brady - 32-50, 389 yds, 4TD, 1int
Rivers - 13-36, 182 yds, 0TD, 2int

Green-Ellis - 13car, 43 yds, 3.3 ypc, 0TD
Woodhead - 4car, -3 yds, -0.7 ypc, 0TD

Mathews - 12car, 30yds, 2.5 ypc, 0TD
Summers - 1car, 3 yds, 3.0 ypc, 0TD

Welker - 8 rec, 114 yds, 1TD
Ochocinco - 6 rec, 82 yds, 2TD
Gronkowski - 6 rec, 89 yds, 1TD

Floyd - 5 rec, 32 yds, 0TD
Jackson - 3 rec, 70 yds, 0TD
Mathews - 2 rec, 32 yds, 0TD

Patriots Defense - 9 TFL, 3 sack, 2 int, 10 pdef, 0 FF
Chargers Defense - 10 TFL, 3 sack, 1 int, 9 pdef, 0 FF

notes:
-TOP - NE 22:46 and SD 13:14
-Both teams continue to have drops left and right. Each team had 6 by the end of the game. This will have to have a significant boost.
-Rushing is terrible on both sides. Player will be getting a slight boost and CPU a major boost.
-Great pass rush for both sides leading to realistic play for human passing, but caused havoc for CPU passing game. I plan on lowering Player pass reaction a bit to make up for the poor throwing.
-Both teams missed a 50+ yard FG attempt, but made their shorter.
-Scifres punted 9 times for an average of 46.2 and Mesko 6 times for 47.5. I will lower punting slightly.

Re: Bossg315's Madden NFL 12 Sliders VERSION 1.5 ( 100% Realistic and Fun)

Tried the normal speed sliders in my franchise and had a very enjoyable game that went into OT. What is the recommended quarter time? I had mine set to 11min and it seemed to allow too many plays.

Bills (me) 37 - Bengals 34

Fitzpatrick - 34/51, 438yds, 4TD, 2int
Palmer - 22/39, 320yds, 3TD, 0int

Jackson - 11car, 38yds, 3.4 ypc, 0TD
Spiller - 9car, 10yds, 1.1ypc, 0TD

Benson - 18car, 50yds, 2.7ydsm 0TD
Scott - 1car, 9yds, 9ypc, 0TD

Johnson - 9 rec, 123 yds, 0TD
Davis - 8 rec, 85yds, 2TD
Parrish - 4 rec, 65yds, 0TD

Caldwell - 7 rec, 95 yds, 2TD
Benson - 5 rec, 18 yds, 0TD
Green - 3 rec, 82 yds, 1TD

Bills Defense - 14 TFL, 5 sack, 0 int, 8 pdef, 1FF
Bengals Defense - 6 TFL, 1 sack, 2 int, 15 pdef, 1FF

Thoughts:

I was not getting the drops that R8rs is getting with only 1 drop for the Bills and 3 for Cinci. The passing game did seem to be fun if not slightly open. It could just feel this way due to the number of times forced to throw because of how challenging the running game was. Running on both sides was quite frustrating as I was only able to break a long of 9 yds and was stopped behind the line often. The cpu was not having much more luck.

The defense felt fine on this run through, although the Bills defense was able to get into the backfield quite often due to blitzing (4 LB and 1 CB sacks).

Kicking felt good, I went 3:3 all under 40yds, CPU went 2:3 missing a 50+yd attempt. Punting was where it should be.

3rd Down Conversion was very low for both teams (20%/35%), Poss Times were 29:09/23:02.

Next run through I think I will try adjusting the running game on both sides as suggested by R8rs and see how it feels. Also going to lower quarter length to what is suggested on the sliders on the first page unless someone recommends differently.

Re: Bossg315's Madden NFL 12 Sliders VERSION 1.5 ( 100% Realistic and Fun)

My fifth game with your normal sliders, slightly modified.
Patriots (me) 42 - 21 Falcons
Brady - 32-52, 338 yds, 3TD, 1int
Ryan - 13-33, 241 yds, 3TD, 0int

Green-Ellis - 16car, 90 yds, 5.6 ypc, 3TD
Woodhead - 8car, 39 yds, 4.8 ypc, 0TD

Turner - 17car, 76yds, 4.4 ypc, 0TD

Welker - 8 rec, 90 yds, 1TD
Gronkowski - 6 rec, 79 yds, 1TD
Ochocinco - 5 rec, 74 yds, 1TD

White - 5 rec, 50 yds, 0TD
Jones - 3 rec, 127 yds, 2TD
Pope - 2 rec, 19 yds, 0TD

Patriots Defense - 6 TFL, 2 sack, 0 int, 8 pdef, 0 FF
Falcons Defense - 3 TFL, 1 sack, 1 int, 12 pdef, 1 FF

notes:
-TOP - NE 23:09 and ATL 12:51
-Falcons started off the game with a bomb to Julio Jones, who caught it and ran in for the TD. Atlanta looked dominant on offense for the entire first quarter, but after that it went down hill. Perhaps due to me getting used to my playbook, or the following note.
-The Falcons' players seemed to be made of glass. Several top players were out by the end of the game, probably adding to the lead of the Patriots.
-The NE (me) looks better on paper than what was played. A 50yd rush makes Green-Ellis look better than what he showed.
-I finally saw improvement in player drops. Unfortunately it came with a price, as CPU's drops tripled and was a main cause for the blowout. I'm not sure what to do as I didn't change much from the previous 4 games. (NE had 2 and ATL had 8)
-CPU running game looked good during the first half, or when I was on my back heels trying to stop the bombs to Julio Jones. During the second half I keyed in on the running game, which slowed it and brought the average down.

With the Bossg315's permission I will post what my final sliders looks like after testing, but I don't wanna hijack his thread. At the same time I don't wanna start a new thread because mine are just a modified version of his.

Re: Bossg315's Madden NFL 12 Sliders VERSION 1.5 ( 100% Realistic and Fun)

Second run through on these sliders and another tight game. I won this one with 8 seconds left with a one handed TD catch with my tight end. Adjusted quarter time to 10 minutes. Slightly adjusted run sliders on each side.

Bills (me) 21 - Eagles 18

Fitzpatrick - 25/44, 332yds, 3TD, 0int
Young - 11/25, 187yds, 2TD, 1int

Jackson - 16car, 49yds, 3.0 ypc, 0TD
Spiller - 4car, 14yds, 3.5ypc, 0TD

Young - 10car, 44yds, 4.4ypc, 0TD
McCoy - 8car, 36yds, 4.5ypc, 0TD

Owens - 8 rec, 141 yds, 1TD
Parrish - 7 rec, 102yds, 0TD
Johnson - 6 rec, 45yds, 1TD

Jackson - 4 rec, 125 yds, 2TD
McCoy - 2 rec, 20 yds, 0TD
Maclin - 1 rec, 11 yds, 0TD

Bills Defense - 7 TFL, 6 sack, 1 int, 3 pdef, 1FF
Eagles Defense - 6 TFL, 4 sack, 0 int, 7 pdef, 0FF

Thoughts:

Both sides still finding it hard to run leaving the game largely in the hands of each team's QBs. It doesn't seem that the RBs are breaking many tackles when they make first contact as only McCoy was able to register 1 broken tackle throughout the contest.

Passing feels great except I did notice more dropped passes this time around (Bills-7/Eagles-6). This could be due to the fact that the Bills are weak with their WRs and the Eagles had backup Vince Young starting.

Blitzing found the bills once again in the backfield often, especially rookie Marcell Darius who seems to be an absolute animal and racked up 4 sacks alone in this game.

Kicking may need to be adjusted as I went 0:3 with Buffalo, hooking wide at 40 yds, and coming up very short for 2 50yd attempts. Lindell was not even able to make it near the distance at 50yds even with a 100% maxed out kick. CPU went 1:1 at 30yds.

3rd conversions looked a little better possibly due to slight RB tweaks which made those short yardage conversions a bit more attainable with the rush (52% / 41%). Time of possession was 23:44 / 16:16.

Yeah the running game needs work. And the wr catching is not how it should be. I been hussy this week but I'm gonna work on some new sets for all game speeds and post them.
