Well I look at it as the CPU always throws the ball on target never seems to be off which isn't realistic. That also with the CPU NEVER dropping passes makes for them putting up high completion percentages. I am not only looking at it from a stats perspective though. I look at it as watching how the CPU throws and catches. So far I never see them throw off target and they never drop the ball either even in tight windows. I was just playing a game and there were times the QB had at least 8 seconds to throw the ball. That also contributed to the passing game. I think maybe the run blocking should be lowered a tad bit for the CPU because they are blocking a little too well. Keep in mind I am watching replays and paying attention to how it's playing not only based on stats.
I could be wrong about this, I have only been using Jarrods sets since Madden 12, but I am pretty sure he doesnt set out to be one of those guys that trys to make it look as real as possible, its more about giving the CPU some firepower while keeping stats in line. Again, I could be wrong, Jarrod feel free to correct me. I always looked at Jarrods black sets as "this is what I need when there is no other way for me to ever lose to the CPU"

I plugged in 40 for user catching and INT, made the other tweaks to make CPU rushing tougher, and now I am winning 33-0 against buffalo in 2nd qtr.
I have no idea what is going on anymore.
SEC mentioned that some sliders may be reversed this year and I am wondering if thats the case here because I have 3 INTs in the first half, all CPU controlled
Dont worry ur not the only one man. Me and my buddy are ripping our haor out over here tryin to get a competitive game in CCM. Its nothing like the demo or play now

That probably is right actually. I like it to be real as possible with me being able to lose a realistic amount. I don't know I haven't really used his sliders into recently as well so I can't say that is why. However it does make sense that is why his sliders are the way they are. So I guess it comes down to EA failing to make the A.I. on par with the user. Which isn't surprising at all to me. When it comes to NHL though they do a great job with A.I. especially for NHL 13. I wonder how hard EA works on the A.I.? It seems they have so many issues that they have to work on that they fail to even have time to improve the A.I.
Hi I was wondering, whenever there are updates to the original sliders on the first page where do the tweaks show up? I see that you lowered user catching to 40 etc... but I do not see all the updates in one spot? This is my first time replying and love the sliders so far even though they are kicking my butt especially playing with the black sliders as Buffalo...
Thanks again for all the work put into this greatly appreciated!
Using the blue set now. Well I had a slider set with the Human and CPU on 40 WR catching and it produced a realistic amount of dropped passes. Also the CPU never really seems to be off target on throws. In real life you see at happened quite a bit especially for the average QB's. I actually am playing on play now, but remember Jarodd is playing the demo so he is playing basically the same thing as I am.
Using the black set, between inaccurate passes, and dropped balls, I just got Andy Dalton (Cpu) to go 13/33, 39%. Try cpu wr catching on 60. Thats what I'm using now, but on the black set. There were times, especially when I brought pressure, that Andy Dalton's passes were off by a decent bit. Very realistic imo.

I was using the black sliders, but Foster kept breaking off HUGE runs against me due to me not being able to get off blocks at all. The run blocking at least in that game was completely unstoppable not matter what I called. So I ended up quitting.
But what needs to be remembered there is a HUGE number of flaws in this game that need to be patched. So what that being said it could change how these sliders play. I love this game don't get me wrong, but it really seems like they put out an incomplete product this year.

This game was fun, annoying, and frustrating all at the same time. Way too many dropped passes, especially where the WR/TE is wide open and way too many fumbles. I had 5 fumbles and I believe the Steelers had 2. I am not upset about the rushing because those numbers sound about right when CJ plays the Steelers. lol
EDIT: Also, too many roughing the passer penalties on the CPU, thanks to the Infinity Engine.
