I was talking about offline play, not CCM. But I meant sliders in general. What I meant was that the implication here is that even if you move the sliders from their default positions from, say, "ALL PRO", your difficulty level will say "CUSTOM." So if your difficulty level says "CUSTOM" then it's got to be something totally separate from ROOKIE, PRO, ALL PRO, and ALL-MADDEN. So if I just see "CUSTOM", there's no way of telling which default sliders were used.

Wish I could try things online CCM...but unfortunately, I don't have XBL Gold, so I am unable to get current rosters, nor play CCM online.

Everything is offline, and I've had tremendous games.

Offline CCM is so glitched its unplayable so no clue what ur talking about.........

I was discussing this in another thread a few days ago.

Difficulty level and sliders are separate from your profile settings. They can only be changed in your CCM and it will not affect your difficulty. There is no custom in CCM from what I can tell, difficulty and sliders are separate.

I have noticed there is a difference between how the sliders work between a Player and Coach CCM.
The thing that stood out most to me is that sliders do not seem to have any affect during supersim in a player CCM, only when the player is on the field. The game options do not seem to have any affect either. I have noticed there are almost no penalties called during supersim.
Even after setting the CPU sliders to 100 or 0 there was no difference in game play as far as how the Supersim went.

Trying this with my Raiders QB CCM on All-Pro. Playing the Broncos with CPU offensive sliders set at 100 and my defensive sliders set at 0. Manning threw 16/44 2 TDs with 3 INTs.
Same CCM except I dropped CPU's offensive sliders to 0 and my defensive sliders to 100 against the Falcons and Matt Ryan killed my team. He was 21/25 4TDs and 0 INTs.
Not the outcomes I was expecting.
