From my own experience I have taken note that if you switch to Conventional from GameFlow right before the opening kickoff, in the pause menu, that the CPU becomes much more balanced on offense. Besides for that I have also read on some other threads that Game Speed, as well as Auto-Subs, have a direct effect on the aggressiveness of the CPU passing game. Apparently the higher the game speed, the more aggressive the CPU. As goes for Auto-Subs, I've read 11/9 for whatever reason gives the CPU passing a little extra as well. I can not say if either of these do affect the CPU passing but I am in the process of testing and I just wanted to bring them to your attention. As far as the testing goes I wanted to get your opinion on what Speed Threshold to use on Fast as well as Very Fast?

As y'all can see from my lack of posting, I am back in the lab mixing up a tuned up batch of sliders for us all to enjoy.... No ETA, since I am actually trying to enjoy watching some NFL with real refs, and some SEC & PAC 10, NCAA action as well ....

I am reading all your posts, I will try to answer all questions, and requests that would like to pick my brain on theories and comments....

Just give me some time, as I try to catch my breath.... I take a lot of pride and dedicate a lot of legit time in the lab to tune these bad boys... I also test a lot of theories and ideas from other bad-assess throwin' up their slider sets in this forum, although some ideas/theories are more "pizz-azzz" rather than substance, but you got to try them out just to be fair....

Appreciate all the luv and will be checking in with responses and feedback as the days roll along....

Instructions for the Beta testers of the Gospel of Madden V.2 Slider Set

The following are things that I want feedback on:

1) Total # of plays after a complete game with these exact sliders

2) Track the mix of runs and passes used by the CPU

3) Track penalties

4) Track cheese fumbles..... Memo to all MENSAS: Carrying the rock only with one hand and not "wrapping up" when about to get popped, or having a QB get creamed by a linebacker at full speed, or getting blindsided as a runner, DO NOT CONSTITUTE as cheese fumbles.... These type of fumbles happen EVERY SUNDAY, watch an NFL game if you must.... IF you are getting to many fumbles, you are not properly carrying the damn rock! I average 1 maybe two fumbles a game with these settings.... HOWEVER, if I am careless, I lose the rock, plain and simple.... With these sliders, YOU ARE REWARDED if you know how to plaster the runner with the ball properly

5) Track completion rates for ELITE QB's vs. MEDIOCRE QB's.... And for RB's, track their YPC and total number of carries....

6) Make sure that "arm tackles" do not bring down the ball carrier, and a BEAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSST ball carrier better be brought down by a posse' and not some scrawny CB using a hand tackle to the thigh....

7) BIG HITS better cause drops or fumbles, 'enuff said

8) Track how often the CPU runnin' game busts a nut on you

9) Track total number of cheese interceptions .... Bad decisions or pressure throws that turn into INT's are not cheese

10) Track the length of punts by boomers like Lechler of the 'Faiders, and the length and accuracy by elite mules like Gostkowski of the Pats....


Always play at least 4 COMPLETE games, and ALWAYS HAVE A NOTEPAD BY YOUR SIDE TO JOT DOWN "ODDITIES" THAT SEEM TO RECUR MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, or SIMPLY JOT DOWN YOUR IDEAS, THOUGHTS, OR SIMPLY A NEW COCKTAIL DRINK YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE....




You did want to beta test these bad boys didn't you? Well get to it bud.....

These are the absolute best sliders out there so far. I had to turn down the fumbles and turn up the CPU tackling but other then that I have had fun with these. Thanks Wiz!!

My man.... I am posting some sliders based on the feedback I have received from the thread, basically some tuning to the beta slider set that addresses the following concerns:

1) INTERCEPTIONS
2) HUM Passing
3) Kicking game
4) HUM Running/Brk Tkl

Stay tuned, hoped to have them up soon.... After I post this new slider update, I like many other slider dudes will probably go dark until EA addresses the patch issue....

Boom SHAKA LAKA.... Like your spunk kid.... Christmas eve must have been a real mental juggernaut for you....

Not sure on ETA, but it is soon, especially since I just read the feedback from EA sports and the patch that we have been all looking forward to, DOES NOT look like it is coming this year....
