Very true. I remember the good ol days of Nintendo when games used to be less. at least I think so. It used to be so long. but anyways, I think this game is worth 50. If you dont care about improvement in graphics and presentation, then you'll love the game.

I have so much fun just playing the game, and actually losing to some teams.

At this point I'm not sure if any sports title is worth $50.... they are all, yearly upgrades of each other.

I bought mine used for $34. I think it's major improvement over last year, but I would certainly look for a used copy. Just to note--at EB games online you can get 15% off all pre-played games and if you have an edge card you can add another 10%. Also, check gamefly.

If you have a K-Mart they have the game for $40. It's a sale so it might not last that much longer, I was tempted to get it today, but I got NASCAR 06 instead.
