Out with the old, IN WITH THE OLD!

I have done a 180 on madden 360. After playing it for a week now, I really dont want to touch it anymore. Here's my gripes.

-Quarter Man Defense still dominates the run
-Fast DE's still can easily loop around OT's without being touched
-The running game is basically boils down to cutting everything to the outside. Speed is still King.
-The corner route is back with a vengence. Its madden 2001-2004 all over again.
-Is there actually Pass Interference in this game, when PI's actually happen.
-Reciever Animations sometimes ghost right thru defensive backs to make catches.
-CPU QB's dont scramble
-The same money plays that worked before still work.
-Motion Left Run Right!
-Line play is garbage its so random its completely pointless.

- So far the gameplay seems identical to the madden's of last gen except for:

Defensive controls now feel like ice skating. Who knew Brian Urlacher was so ready for the winter olympics.


I hope to God NCAA stays on the track its on with 06' and doesnt take gameplay pointers from this madden.

i couldn't agree with you more. i just got back from Gamestop and re purchased Madden 06 (Xbox). i thought the game was pretty good before i traded it in but had i realise how poor of a game MADDEN 360 would been, i would not i touched it. EA really dropped the ball on their 360 release. MADDEN was not build from the ground up because it does nothing differently or better than the current versions...

Yea built brand new from the ground up my a$$. Its the same game with better graphics and less features. Who did EA think they were fooling.

Wow, sorry to hear you didnt like Madden 360. I didnt play it yet nor have I seen it yet. Just the vids on the internet and it look like the same game to me. I know you cant judge a game by a video but even on the video it look like my Madden in my living room.

This guy does not have the game I can promise you that..he is on 3 threads saying the same thing without anthing to back it up...
