Hrm, for a cover boy, they sure don't like to show VY doing much, do they I'm interested to see if they have his throwing motion, or at least some sort of modified motion, but I'm guessing they don't.

It's not that I didn't think it was a cool video, but some transitions are still a little off to me, like the feeling of weight and momentum behind it is not quite right. One step at a time though I guess, it still looks great to play, even if that 'catch and then low mid air tackle to an incredibly fast somersault' does look a little unrealistic. One small thing that I hate about Madden that still seems to be present is DB's going for the catch behind the receiver, like they're expecting the ball to make it through somehow, as seen on the Braylon Edwards sideline catch. In reality given his position (and skill as McAlister), he probably could have cut that off and broken it up, i.e., went for the ball instead of waiting for it to arrive to him.

To me madden hasn't looked this smooth and open since...ever personally. Dynamic tackling system, smooth framerate, if it had a league system like 2k i would have to break my EA lock this year. It's going to be really tough for me to avoid having 2 football games this year even one i havent played in a couple of years.

Whats wrong with those Missed tackles.........i mean some times stuff like that does happen. Anyway, damn was i impressed. The trailer should be thier new commerical. I awed at it.

However dont want to sound like a **** head, but after seeing the 2k8 video presentation, i think next year madden should try to loosen up thier players. Thats one thing i think they lacked. The players need to look and feel like thier not being controlled by a player. I mean they feel robotic. After that, the trailer definietly pumped me up to purchase this bad boy this summer. It'll be a time killer till Blue Dragon

I loved the Carson Palmer evading the sack and coming up throwing animation. I just wonder if the QB's will still be super accurate after that kind of move. I can't wait for this or NCAA.

Yeah I'm hoping they got his sidearm motion down. I think they added some new throwing motions like Phillip Rivers so Im hoping they at least added a sidearm motion. Did anyone elese notice VY's new reebok cleats? They look pretty ugly and he's the only Titan on the field wearing black cleats. I hope we can change those to white.
