The worst moment in Sports Video Game History is when the NFLPA handed exclusive rights to EA Sports.

I think the past couple of years have proved that beyond any doubt. I cry whenever I think about how great Madden NFL '08 and ESPN NFL Football '08 could've been. It seems like those two games were always one upping each other every year for the past 10 years. But now NFL video games are just... stagnating.

Competition was a good thing. EA Sports and Sega Sports were good for each other. Those two were like Lennon and McCartney. They were great when together, but they really suck without each other.

Bah! I don't think half the people in this board even knows who Lennon and McCartney were...

Also, I would argue with anyone that said Lennon sucked without Paul. Sure it wasn't all Beatle quality, but he still produced some great material as a solo artist....As for Paul, well McCartney was pretty good.

I think you had too much of the peace pipe with that statement. Lennon had imagine, give peace a chance, woman and many more. McCartney had live and let die and many more....so that statement right there is somewhat false. If you wanted to compare 2k and EA I would have said anakin and Obiwan before anakin turned to become Darth Vader.
