Yeah, but presentation can help draw you in more. Do you really want the Super Bowl to feel like a ho-hum Week 4 game? I don't. It should feel like a big game.

Agree 100%.

If putting refs in the game somehow makes the game play better (meaning I dont trade it after a month) I am all for it.

I will put it this way: If refs were in this version, I still would have taken it back.

Would it be cool to have them in? sure it would.... go beyond that... expand and have different ref teams that call games slightly different, better or worse. But do this AFTER the game, the core of the game is 100% solid.

if the referees are going to get in the way and screw up someones play than yeaaa!!! they do have referees on the field when penalties are called

The real question is if the refs will actually throw flags at appropriate penalties...

Just another one of those "added features" that vanishes for several versions and then comes back (again) as a "new" feature.....



If the refs make the game PLAY better... put them in, otherwise... who the hell cares.

I wouldn't mind if the referees get in the way. Sure they should try to avoid they play, but ultimately they might get involved.

In fifa 09, the refs try to avoid the ball, but if you kick the ball at 100mph, it'll hit the ref. Nothing wrong with that.


And at Ea, there aren't 30 guys that work on gameplay.

Theres various departments, such as Gameplay, franchise, online, sound, presentation.


Don't worry dudes, if refs were in the game, it wouldn't come as an expense of realistic qb play.
