Does Madden 2010 Need Referees?

The N64 Maddens had referees on the field. That should answer the poll question succinctly enough.

Madden 06, 07, 08, and 09 needed referees.

I look forward to finally putting this topic to rest when Madden 10 is released, because Madden 10 will have referees. I'm confident about that.

I wouldn't get upset if they weren't in the game, but they would add to the feel of it being a NFL game.

Easy. Program them so they get out of the way. The problem last gen seems to be that they weren't programmed to move with respect to the action that was occurring on the field and it would interfere with the action at times

Not only does Madden need ref's....but cheerleaders also need to be present
I'm not talking about those "zombie strippers" EA called cheerleaders in 03,I'm talking about some nice cheerleader shots throughout the game.

How many times during an NFL broadcast,do they pan to the cheerleaders? To further the presentation in an NFL broadcast style,this needs to be implemented as well.

It's like asking if a 400 pound girl should use a different brand of mascara, it won't make her hot.

Tons of threads like these, I could care less if there were no fans, chain-gangs, FG nets, refs, etc. if the game played great. EA needs to spend every second on gameplay, no gimmicks, no accurate shoelaces, gameplay, gameplay, gameplay.

I need both gameplay and atmosphere/presentation. One without the other doesn't work for me.
