Which Was Your Fav Madden, and What Feature Do You Miss Most From Last Gen?

Ok im sorry but im going to answer this with 2 games, and Ill explain quickly.

I love Madden 08 ON THE PC. It still uses the last gen engine and the gameplay is the same as madden 05 but more polsihed, also the graphics are great on the PC, but Madden 05 had a great franchise mode. The radio guy and the newspapaer clippings were alot of fun.

Madden 08 for gameplay Madden 05 for Franchise.

I have been saying this so much I wish till this day that they would just go back to the last gen engine. They can rock it for sure if they went back to it. I know from the PC version how beautiful the last gen engine looks in higher resolutions.

Really hard to say... I'm gonna go with Madden 06 PC, simply because of the sheer amount of millage I got out of that. So many third party fixes that made the game so much better.

Bit for bit, Madden 2001 PS2 was the single best football game ever made. It was as close to perfect as you could come for the hardware.

Vision cone was great.

It made sense.

People said that a beam of light from the qb's eye was ridiculous. So i guess we should remove receiver buttons above their heads too ?

It differentiated qbs.

Now everyone is Superman. Sprinting backwards and still seeing ur receiveR?

Rex Grossman checking down to his 5th option in an empty set?

Please give us back the option for vision cone.

It made reading the qb's eye mean something. And you could bite on where his was looking, then he'd switch to his intended receiver and then throw the ball.
The concept made so much sense!

i would love to see it return, and mandatory on harder difficulties, on and offline.

On past gen, the best games are ranked from current on downward. It was a steady improvement every year, sometimes more then other years, but always an improvement. The best past gen madden there is - Madden 09
