I'm actually really surprised more people haven't commented on this. Especially considering the revamping Pass Offense is getting this year.

You can never argue with more options!! Plus it has always frustrated me how few options there are in regards to hot routing a player. I would welcome this hot rout system with open arms.

It's not that there's TOO few of options. I just feel that there's room for additions! Plus, I hate when I come out in a pass play, and sense the D is in a cover 2, but can't hot route a WR to that post pattern!

Re: Lets talk Hot Routes!

Even without pushing down on the sticks 2k was able to do 8 hotroutes with one stick. It seems that should make room for 16 using the two sticks that EA uses. I think they could put post and corner as up/right and up/left on the right stick. They could move the drag from just down to down/left and down/right making the inside one a drag pattern and the outside one the flat pattern that they have for TEs and slots. That would allow the straight down to be a quick hitch. Up could be a fade, and right and left could stay the slant patterns.

For the left stick, leave the four like they are. Down/left and down/right could be play fakes to those directions. I don't know for sure on the up/left and up/right ones on the left stick.

Re: Lets talk Hot Routes!

While I know EXACTLY what you meant pertaining to 2K's hot route system, I felt it was MUCH more difficult to use. You had to flick it perfectly in the direction, or you'd get a hot route other than the one you wanted.

Caused me to get quite a few delay of games.

For the defense, it would be great if we could swap the Safeties and LBs at the line of scrimmage depending on which side the strong side of the offense's formation is on.
