Or why not an "edit a logo" option where you can upload your own custom logo (because after all, not everyone likes the options you guys have available).

I think he did the +1 because he's probably addressed this more times than he can remember. It's a pretty common question (maybe someone should throw together a Madden FAQ).

The NFL is very protective of their trademarks. There's a very good reason for this. Copywrite/IP/Trademark law tend to frown on holders that don't actively protect their properties. It makes it somewhat more difficult to protect them in court. So the NFL, playing the safe side, is very restrictive on how you can use their trademarks. Prohibitions on altering the trademark in any way (and the entire uniform and team's full name is a trademark) is one way they protect themselves.

It would just be nice to see the details in writing. I would think it is public information... I just don't know where to find it.

I'm curious as to why we can't play with the historic teams in some way, shape or form.

Or why we can't play at a Historic Stadium like Cleveland Stadium, like we were able to do in the past, say with Madden 2001?

I've been waiting for a long time for those to come back in NCAA and Madden, and have been disappointed that they haven't been back in the next gen.
