So what did you like about Madden from 2006-2009?

Only two things I liked. The leap in graphics, which I think can be better, and the way you could create a superstar back in the day with the mixing of parents (Dad was the Ray Lewis of his time with a USA Olympic volleyball player mom=nastiness). I don't like the templated athletes they use now that are just like the best player in that position.

This is truly sad, after 4 years of "next gen" games, we can't come up with any significant features that we would like to keep in the game. Just goes to show the type of bs we've been fed these last few years. Here's hoping Madden 10 will change that mindset.

branching animations
09 graphics
09 playcall screen (formations, subs, and replays without pausing)
passing icons disappearing when QB goes too far backwards
muddy uni's (although it's too extreme by the 4th Q)
madden IQ (although I only like it conceptually, not how it was implemented)

And yet EA generated more than a BILLION dollars from us consumers over the same 4 year period.

I liked nothing about 2006-2009 except for certain aspects of the graphics.

Yes I just copied the box features, sadly the only thing i liked from 06-09 was branching animations last year.
