I think it'd be nice to have the scoreboard removed during a play. The newer plasmas don't have as much of a burn in problem and most have some sort of burn in prevention, but more than that it'd be nice graphically in my opinion to not have it all the time.

In the end it's not a feature I care about one way or another, but something to think about I guess.

If your screen has burn in, there's a few things you can do such as running a slideshow with full screen flashing colors etc that can work. Check out www.avsforums.com

I really like that onfield marker that's show on the Wii screenshot. Just add the time, the score, dots for timeouts, and reposition it randomly on the screen. There's plenty of room there for it. That gives us all the info we need, frees up more real estate to play the game, and, best of all, protects televisions from the burn in problem.

I play all of my video games on my 61' Smsung HDTV. I haven't had any problems like the OP mentioned.

even lcd can have burn in. your best bet is to get a tv with burn in protection and use it after playing. another tip that works is to put the game over to tv and watch some tv for about 30 minutes the tv picture will refresh the pixels(lcd) or gas chambers(plasma) and relieve some of the burn in.

hope this works. i have 2 52" plasmas one strickly for movies and sports and the other for my ps3..........

i have burn in on my tv after playing but the following tips do help it
