Is "Coaches Mode" back in the game for offline an online franchise?

I don't know about franchise, but as a selection Coach Mode is back.

I'm hoping it's in the Franchise. I really hope it's in the online franchise the most. I love coaches mode.

I've played on a 32 player online franchise "coaches mode" for PC and it was alot of fun. It's a shame that 08 was the last PC game they made.

The funny thing was we filled up the spots. I played for a good 4 seasons in our online coaches mode.

Sorry but what exactly is coach mode? Is it like Head Coach were you call the plays and then you see the CPU play each other infront of you?
