Madden 10 Is going to be a Monster!!!

You mean Progressive lighting, not procedural lighting. Broadcast camera view will most likely make the game as a patch.

The only thing you mentioned that I have a problem with is create plays/custom playbooks. A feature like this should have been re-implemented years ago. I am Very disappointed this isnt in the game.

Sorry, my bad, progressive lighting is what I meant. It doesn't bother you if we can't pick our own hot route choices, choose to bump only one wr if we want, disguise man coverage very well, or play a wrs inside/outside position even tho we could it in the past? For me, this is like playing the first game in a series after you played the newest one with cool new features added, it's just hard to do.

When I was watching a M10 video at ign on presentation (tailgating, fans finding thier seats, kicker warming up) my first thought was NFL 2k. I mean I can see some of NFL 2k in MAdden 10. I admit I am not a Madden fan, but i give IAn and his staff credit for making a strong effort to improve the game. I wish him success (not too much, I want the exclusive to expire and bring back 2k ) and for you Madden fans have fun with m10.

I sincerely doubt that the 2k5 talk can be stopped. I do think that Madden is going to be impressive this year.

I think Madden will definitely impress me and hold my attention for awhile this year. NCAA is getting pretty go impressions from posters this year and that game was getting HAMMERED. If that's any indication Madden should be incredible.

The Impressions of NCAA are based on a couple hours and or days of gameplay and aren't really reliable IMO. I've seen all this happen before.

Very true. I expect things to shift when more people get the game. Some guys that had me convinced they wouldn't like it this year are saying good things so I guess that's what got me. Could be the honeymoon phase though. Also \it's the thing about having a game before most people get it. I was set that I wasn't going to get it and the early impressions along with the fact I could get it early had me thinking.

2 of the biggest aspects of the gameplay right there. EA makes a football game every year and 2k has only made one in 5 yrs so there's no excuses why Madden shouldnt be better right now. Madden should be miles ahead right now and they're not. APF 2k8 was only worked on a little over 6 months and their gameplay destroyed Madden 09's and that took them 4 yrs to get it that far. Madden 10 is definately looking very promising but until they fix those fugly running animations and bad physics,they'll never be as great as they can be.
