I've seen people having problems with sacks, but I'm not sure what the deal is. I've played 2 games on all-pro (one with 8 min quarters, the other with 9) with the Redskins and have 5 sacks with Orakpo, 2 with Carter, 1 with Haynesworth, and a couple with my LB's and CB's. I just line up my RE next to my LE and take out the T that is blocking my LE and there is either pressure or a sack everytime. I think the problem is that man-to-man coverage absolutely sucks in this game and is entirely worthless, so if you try to rush while playing man-to-man the QB will find a guy everytime. That's just my experience after playing a couple games on a decent skill level.

do you really mean you line up your LE and RE together? did you mean LB?

Rregardless of how cheese this sounds, to the OP, my problem with sacks is that the computer QB just throws the ball when I get there. It prefers to throw duck passes and picks over taking sacks.

right, I totally agree. They did that whole blending thing so the CPU could still throw out of a sack animation. It was over done though. Plus they don't even have the penalty in the game for illegal touching (or whatever it is, when a pass hits the OL).

The ball should definitely not come flying out of the quarterbacks hand as much as it does.

I realized (I play online) if you mix up playcalling or even send a blitz you haven't used you'll get there more often than not. Everyone is having trouble with the CPU I have to see what the hysteria is about, lol

Of course you can get sacks online. The opposing QB is a person an doesn't just chuck it when the pass rush is getting there. They actually take sacks online. But off the Qb just tosses the ball 2 feet to the left or right and you lose a sack.

Its 100% true that this game dont like sacks!!! Matt Cassel did a QB slide in the pocket as my DE was about to sack him!!! Who programed that logic in there? Lol he should have atleast threw it out of bounce WTF

Yeah I noticed that in NCAA, hopefully they fix this then because honestly it did get annoying in NCAA

If you continue seeking a Madden game with all of the options it had on XBox, you will be disappointed. If you accept that the next-gen version of Madden is a downgrade in every area except graphics, then you will find a true gaming experience.
