Haha I was just waiting for someone to say "unrealistic". It works in the game so I might as well do it. In my opinion it would be unrealistic if I changed players ratings then traded them.

I know what you mean about feeling cheap, I traded Nathan Vasher for a 4th round pick and felt like I cheated the cpu

Damn, Vahsher has really fallen. Back in 2006, Bears fans were calling him a top 5-10 corner....now they hardly want him on the team.

The only reason anyone wants him on the team is it would cost about 5 million in cap space to cut him

That won't work in my franchise. I tried to swap firsts with Denver and then I was going to send their first to Seattle to make the draft more accurate and the cpu rejected my proposal

trades ive noticed do depend on team needs somewhat and as long as your not trying to steal from another team its not bad. I dont offer a 6th rounder for r.moss, etc.. If i did try to trade for him id give a wr and a 1st and 2nd or something like that. maybe take a 4th or 5th back with him
