Advanced vs Hardcore Playcalling

I didnt see this started yet but if it has my apologies. Just wanted to throw out that I was extremely frustrated at first playing this game offline. Every game there was a ridiculous number of blitzes by the cpu. Especially all-out blitzes.

I read in another thread somebody changing to hardcore and it being better so i tried that. I'm amazed. Seriously, the cpu plays ALOT different. The playcalling is better and the blitzing is toned down to appropriate levels.

I have no idea why this is the case but if you haven't tried it please do.

I promise you it makes a difference for the CPU. Just try it.

It doesn't change anything for the user except you lose like auto-replays and the feature where Chris Collinsworth breaks down what you did wrong supposedly.

I really don't care much about that and am happy to give those up for the CPU to have better playcalling.

Re: Advanced vs Hardcore Playcalling

User can call plays just like on advanced. Im just saying i was being blitzed so much i had defaulted to running slants and screens mostly and torching the cpu. It wasn't any fun though.

Once i switched to hardcore the cpu playcalling was completely different. It's been much more fun this way.

On the surface, I know it takes away rewinds, backtrack, and replays. I believe that's the only "official" difference between the two.
