What is the OS response to Ian saying he is "done" with this forum?

I didn't know the correct forum to post this in. Mods feel free to move.

I just want to know what the site admins think about this news. I find it a bit shocking to hear this from Ian. I see many good, well thought out ideas on these forums. Yeah, there are guys who flame/troll, but you are going to find this on every forum.

I think you guys did a good job rolling out the red carpet for the EA devs and it makes me sad to see Ian throw in the towel. I figured that with great power (NFL exclusive license) comes great responsibility (dealing with idiots more than you would like).

I still think this is the best sports gaming forum I've ever visited. There are many great minds here and most are really passionate about football. I think all we want here is the best possible NFL simulation in gaming. I want our version of The Show. It doesn't look like that's going to happen now that Ian has dumped us.

Damn, I didn't know that. I thought it was a little more official than that. Either way, he is pretty adamant that insulting M10 and constant comparisons to 2k5 were too much for Ian to handle.

jeremym's post history is pretty normal looking. No flaming or anger. Pretty mature poster. I'm confident he isn't making things up.
